about

Vera is an artist and researcher, currently based in Hamburg.

She's pre-occupied by the question of networks {biological, cultural, and cybernetic} and they're presence in our life.

Influenced by arte-povera, land art, and relational aesthetics, her mediums include technologies {servers, scripts, videos}, organic & cultural matter as well as human interactions.

She's particularly interested in developping time-based site-specific sculptures & installations with a focus on "l'économie des moyens"

Her writing focus on advancing theoretical and critical questions regarding contemporary network art.
